Arachnid

Arachnid was shot in Mexico and Spain.  I was in neither location so I didn’t get to meet the actors.  I did meet extensively with producers Sheri Bryant and Brian Yuzna and director Jack Shoulder.  Jack and I met a lot at Jerry’s Deli in Santa Monica – I think we ate more potato chips than we did story work but it was fun.  The spiders were created by Steve Johnson who was working on a miniscule budget.

Arachnid made a ton of money for Fantastic Factory and Lion’s gate and then went on to break rating records for SyFy Channel.  It was only superseded in the ratings by “Pterodactyl” another film of mine.
